Standard Reports
The Standard Reports tab provides a library of pre-built, compliance-ready reports covering every core area of jail operations — from daily population counts and booking activity to classification summaries, medical screenings, and incident logs. Each report is optimized for correctional auditing standards and can be run, filtered, and exported in seconds without any custom configuration.

Step-by-Step: Running a Standard Report
Open the Standard Reports Tab
Navigate to Reports in the sidebar. The Standard Reports tab is active by default. You will see a categorized list of all available pre-built reports on the left panel.
Choose a Report
Click a report category such as Booking & Release or Population Summary to expand it, then click the specific report name (e.g., Daily Booking Log or Average Daily Population) to open its parameter panel on the right.
Configure Date Range and Filters
In the parameter panel, set the From Date and To Date. Optional filters vary by report — common options include Housing Unit, Classification Level, Arresting Agency, and Officer. Leave filters blank to include all records.
Run and Review the Output
Click Run Report. Results populate in the data grid below. Totals and subtotals appear in bold rows at the bottom of each section. Click any inmate name in the grid to jump directly to their booking record.
Export for Distribution
Use Export PDF to generate a print-ready document stamped with the facility name, report title, and generation timestamp. Use Export Excel when the recipient needs to manipulate or chart the raw data.
Pin Frequently Used Reports
Click the star icon next to any report name to pin it to the Favorites section at the top of the report list, so shift supervisors can access their daily reports without scrolling through categories.
💡 Pro Tips
- The Average Daily Population (ADP) report — run monthly — is the most requested report by county commissioners and budget offices; keep a saved version ready.
- For state compliance submissions, use the Arresting Agency Breakdown filter on the Booking report to separate county holds from city, state, and federal detainees.
- Standard reports respect your role permissions — officers see only their assigned housing units; administrators see the full facility.
- Print the Daily Population Count and post it at the control room at shift change as a physical headcount reference.
